In what ways has your internship inspired you to think about college or career?-Week Five

This internship has been a great way to see and decide on what medical careers I might be interested in pursuing. Being in the pathology lab I got to see all different organs in the human body. I was most intrigued by seeing the legs. The cutting of the bones is really cool. Also the big organs lies the colon and intestines. I also know what I don't like working with. So this experience has been helping me decide on what areas of the body I'm interested in. Before this internship I have never heard of pathology. You don't hear much about it it but there job is really important. They help doctors give a diagnoses por patients. It's mostly independent work which I like and it's a job where you get to work with organs as well as have a regular schedule. It is a quite environment, and not so much movement. Everyone is working independently on their own stuff. I also really liked Sharp. The environment and the people are all really nice and friendly maybe a place to consider working at in the future.
