How has your internship changed the way you consider the paths your future will take?-Week Two

One of the challenges at my internship has been that I can't do many things due to the fact that there can be no mistakes made since we are working with patients. Although I am not able to do much, I spend most of the time observing and learning from everyone at the lab. I have gotten to talk to pathologists and have asked them for advice and what they did to get to where they are. When going on runs, I get to see different parts of the hospital, like colonoscopy, endoscopy, surgery wing, labor and delivery, and more. From observing and looking around, I have gotten a better idea of what it would be like to work at a hospital as well as what areas interest me.
